Süddalmatien - Video über einen Landgang auf der Insel Hvar

Die Insel Hvar ist ein äußerst beliebtes Ziel von Segelcrews, welches innerhalb eines Tages ab Split erreicht werden kann. Hvar ist die viertgrößte Insel der Adriatischen Küste und wurde schon von Autoren zu den 10 schönsten Inseln der Welt gekürt. Mit 70 km Länge ist Hvar gleichzeitig die längste Insel in Kroatien. Ein weiteres Superlativ sind die rd. 3000 Sonnenschein-Stunden pro Jahr, welche Schönwettersegler begeistern wird.

The Biograd Boat Show 2013

In October 2013 the popular Biograd Boat Show presented by Ilirija d.d. took again place in the Marina Kornati. The exhibition was extended with two additional halls to enable more companies to present their products. 250 exhibitors attended the fair, 288 boats were presented at the marina piers and on top three sailing regattas took place during four exciting days.

Primošten is about 30 km away from Šibenik at the Croatian coast. Because of its picturesque appearance this town is the most popular tourist resorts in Dalmatia. The Old Town of this city is situated on a hilly peninsula that you can easily reach with your sailing yacht because there is a special jetty for boats.

A visit to Charter Company Ultra Sailing in Split

Ultra Sailing is a yacht charter company from Croatia with various bases along the Croatian Coast. We visited their charter bases in Split and Trogir which are both close to the airport near Split. The airport is only 23 km away from the ACI Marina in Split and even less than 10 km from the ACI Marina in Trogir.

A visit to Yates Mallorca in Palma de Mallorca

The charter fleet of Yates Mallorca is situated in the new constructed Marina La Lonja in the harbor of Palma de Mallorca. You can reach the marina in about 10-15 minutes from the airport by car or you can even take the bus that takes you to the Paseo Maritimo from where you can walk to the marina. The charming old town of Palma is on the opposite side of the main street where you can find a lot of tapas bars and cafes to spend your time at. From the base of Yates Mallorca you have a view to the famous Cathedral of Palma that is close to the marina.

Alboran Charter is a company that has bases situated in Spain, Tenerife and Cuba. I had the chance to visit their charter base in Palma de Mallorca. The Alboran Charter base in Palma is only 15 minutes away from the airport and is located in the Marina Naviera Balear within the Palma Harbor. There is a supermarket in a 5 minutes walk away from the marina and also many restaurants, bars and clubs are close ligned up at the famous Paseo Maritimo.

The office of Yates Baleares is located in the Club Maritimo de Ca´n Pastilla. Ca´n Pastilla is about ten kilometers away in the East from Palma de Mallorca. It is a typical Tourist Resort that borders the Platja de Palma.
